You can change your mind through Cookie settings in the footer. Saving cookie choices does not sign you up for marketing emails or book a survey.
What the choices mean
- Necessary storage
- Supports essential site functions, such as security and remembering your cookie choices. It is not an advertising preference and stays on.
- Analytics
- Helps us understand visits and calculator steps. The calculator’s aggregate usage reporting also waits for this choice.
- Marketing
- Allows advertising measurement and marketing tags from Google and Meta where they are configured. If a shared tag setup needs both analytics and marketing permission, it stays off unless you allow both.
Changing or removing a choice
We remember your choice on this browser for up to 180 days, then ask again. An older or unreadable preference also prompts a new choice. Other browsers and devices have their own settings.
If you turn a choice off after services have loaded, the website stops sending new events through its tracking controls and asks you to reload to finish stopping those services. It will not reload automatically. Finish or save any unsent answers before reloading.
Changing a choice cannot undo information already sent. You can also remove stored website data through your browser settings. This includes local storage as well as cookies.
How this browser remembers your choices
ietcConsent is a local storage preference containing your analytics and marketing choices, their version and the time saved. It expires after 180 days.
If the browser cannot save a choice, optional tracking stays off on the current page. A preference cookie called ietcConsentBlocked is used where the browser permits it, to prevent an older permission being reused. It lasts up to 180 days and is removed after a successful save.
iemeAttribution uses session storage for visit source details when analytics or marketing is allowed. The tracking controls clear it when a permitted purpose is withdrawn. Campaign details in the current page address can still accompany an enquiry you choose to submit.
